What We Offer

We offer individuals of all ages the opportunity to work with educational experts to receive the necessary support for the following: learning challenges, struggling to achieve academic/professional goals, diagnosed learning disorders/disabilities. In addition, we work with individuals who have had his/her cognition impacted by aging, as well as those struggling to regain a new normal after addiction challenges.

What is educational therapy?

An Educational Therapist’s primary function is to support individuals of all ages in gaining independence and autonomy as a learner. If parents or an individual need to consult with someone who has training and knowledge of learning challenges, an Educational Therapist is the primary resource person. Tutoring in a specific subject area for content knowledge may be a part of the educational therapy process, however, subject matter tutoring may or may not address specific diagnosed learning challenges.

Let’s get started

The first step to getting the support you or your loved one needs, is easier than you imagined. Oftentimes we don’t realize that either ourself or our child needs extra support. Just know there is professional support out there, even if you are not clear what type of support you or a loved one needs. Please contact us for an initial consultation to create new beginnings for yourself and those in your family.

Our Mission

Putting the puzzle pieces together for success of our individual learners, families, teachers, seniors, and schools. We are experts with heart, making a difference in individual lives, families, schools, and our communities.

“Words do not adequately express the depth of my gratitude for Dr. Lynne Goldfarb. Lynne has been working with my child over the past two years and I have personally witnessed tremendous growth and overall improvement in my child’s cognitive skills and language processing abilities. Lynne is highly specialized in working with students who may have challenges with expressive/receptive language and comprehension. Lynne develops an immediate rapport with her students through her gentle approach and compassionate understanding. I highly recommend her services to anyone seeking a positive learning environment.”

“Lynne tirelessly takes a direct, dynamic and empathetic approach in her Educational Therapy sessions to address my nine-year-old’s dyslexia. The two of them have built a respectful conversational relationship that allows my son to relax, work hard, and have fun. Lynne is always prepared with options that provide appropriate choices and incorporates his interests to build skills and explain concepts in an engaging way. While she has his educational needs at the center of every session, Lynne also attends to emotional needs as well, knowing that emotional regulation will have a long lasting impact on his success as a student. After a year with Lynne my child is more confident, able to self advocate, and so proud of all his new skills.”

Lifelong Learner

If I were an artist

I would paint a scene

to inspire and touch those who chanced upon it.

If I were a musician

I would compose a melody

to take others to a beautiful place.

If I were a dancer

I would move

so my audience would want to join in.

If I were a counselor

I would devote my time

to support and celebrate life.

If I were a dreamer

I would hold hope close to my heart

encouraging each person to find his or her dreams.

Awakening…I am a teacher

Who has longed to bring out

the sparkle in those students who work with me.

Awakening…I am a teacher

Who has strived to bring

the very best of what is known

to each person I encounter.

Awakening…I am a teacher,

part artist, musician, dancer, counselor, and dreamer…

and above all these

I am a lifelong learner…
